I have been putting off the quad retrofit for awhile partly because I wasn’t sure the Acme projectors I bought would fit in the low beam location and clear the lens. If you look at the housings it seems the location where they mount is further out than the high beam (upper) location and those Morimoto projectors barely touch the lens. Yesterday I found an original Depo headlight I had, baked it open and mounted an Acme in the (lower) low beam location. Fingers crossed.

I stuck the lens in place..looked good but I figured I’d better bake it into place. Success! I’m not sure if the Acme mini H1 is shorter than the Morimoto mini H1’s but there’s actually more clearance, maybe 1/4” to the lens.
