Rear Glass molding coming unglued

I noticed that the drivers side of my rear glass was sticking up higher than the pass side. I opened the rear hatch glass to find that the hinge area and gas strut area have come unglued. The glass is in great shape, can the molding be reattached to the glass.

Call an auto glass guy. They have special glues and adhesives for this (they'd use it to replace the glass).

That is what I was thinking, the first place tried to tell me if the adhesive fails the glass would have to be replaced. They tried to sell me a $600 replacement.

Yeah get some rv windshield silicone glue sealant

I think this would take a little more than rtv silicon. It is where the mounting points attach so it would have to be strong adhesive. I was thinking epoxy.

Epoxy is too hard and brittle for that mount. Mine broke twice on the old Yukon. You have to use RV windshield glue silicone not generic rtv silicone.
