How to Crank Without Start?

My 2025 3.0l Yukon often sits unused 1 to 3 weeks while out of town. Is there a way to crank the engine with no start to get the oil circulated a bit after sitting? Would there be any benefit in doing this under these circumstances?

I have a seasonal vehicle that sits sometimes four to six months at a time. I keep it on a CTEK tender at all times. When I get to my destination, I just crank it start it and drive it. No Ill effects after 9 years. I think you're overthinking it.....

Just keep a battery tender on it, and when you do fire it up, let it sit and idle for at least a few minutes to get fluid flowing and coming up to temperature, before you drive it down the road.

probably 10 different fuse that could be pulled in the fuse box that would cause it to turn over and not start, no need to make it harder than it needs to be.

There's a thought. Maybe # 87 & 90 feeding the Injector ECMs.

Wouldn't this flood the cylinders with fuel? Hydrolock? Wash down the cylinder walls with fuel?

That's what I was wondering too. It wouldn't hydrolock because unburnt fuel would get expelled on the exhaust stroke. But fuel washdown would be a concern.

Either disable the injectors, or maybe get a relay tester that allows you to jump the relay manually and crank it...

But let's take a step back @Javelina Why can't you just just fire it up and let idle for 5-10 minutes? You'll get lubrication to the engine, burn off any condensation or moisture, and will get everything nice and toasty to deter mice and rats from trying to nest inside the engine compartment (big problem at some locations), plus charge the battery if not on a tender.

I really wouldn't even trip on 1 to 3 weeks at a time, mine have been driven like that for decades because i always have at least 3 and can only drive 1 at a time, so it might sit there days/weeks, especially if it's on empty lol

Disabling the fuel like I said is the best way. It’s actually a feature on my Dodge hellcat just for this scenario. If you floor the gas before you crank on my Dodge it will disable the injectors so you can prime the engine.

On every petrol engine since the ecm/pcm became a thing, smashing the pedal to the floor enabled 'Clear Flood' mode:
injectors temporarily stay closed so long as TPS%=100. Later learned that if the TPS is relaxed under 84%, injectors reopen.
Been doing it after every single oil change since the 90s.
I also do it for 1 full second for every wintry cold start, then totally lift while continuing to crank. Do turbodiesel engines have a 'Clear Flood' mode?

Just tried this: One foot on the brake, accelerator to the floor, then press the start button. Engine starts then idles as it would with foot off the accelerator pedal.

What you describe is an interesting feature on new EFI gas motors.
