and yea 6" isnt really needed, 90% of the time a stock pickup truck is fine. but these structures are generally in undeveloped areas. the roads in and out are just whatever trash fill the contractor has dug up and if its dry and maintained the cmax can make it to most places with the caveat that well you can go that way is only 5 miles of rough shit road, or 30 miles to take the maintained roads. large equipment/concrete trucks/etc travel those, you get stuck behind or have to try and pass on whats barely a single lane road. rainy season (usually 6 months straight) is trash.
