I'm rolling with the davies Craig pump, Where the tank is and how its laid out its really the only pump that will work. If it sucks, then I'll worry about it.

The water tank is annoying me, grabbed a few bungs to weld into it, only came with a few 1/2npt. I'm doing 1-1/2 barb to the pump (short right on the back of the tank) and then 16an to the intercooler. But the only holesaws I've got are some cheap ones that walk around quite a bit, welder will prob ***** at me for making the holes to big.

Truck is running pretty good, no oil leaks, swapped to the other throttle body i have and hasn't failed out, kinda don't want to tear it all apart at the moment

Never posted bottom shot of intercooler also! 4.5 thick, about 13x7...should do some cooling.

Went to put the heater cores back in the coolant system loop- i bypassed it all when I was messing with the cooling problems just to eliminate more points to bleed. Had to grab some new qdc fittings to attach to the T at the firewall.

also going to (finally) work on some limiting straps, hopefully that i can leave on all the time with enough slack/give to work then just tighten up at track

ordered some stuff to put limiting straps on the front. end goal is to see if i can get this big biotch to 60' around 1.5sec

i want to get them on to see if they actually do anything. cause i see some people saying they're the end all solution and others saying that didnt do a damn thing (and coilovers are the answer) but i already have coil overs.

rear shocks have been on for over 2 years and prob due for a rebuild or swap since theyre a hair long.

straps first before i decide if i need 4 drag radials or not :( . really i dont want to for a few reasons. they dont last that long a light vehicle i imagine itll be even worse on 6k lbs, with some street driving. im not driving to the track and swapping wheels f that. sizes.... itd be fun to see her 60' on 24s.

Should be able to drop a2w tank off this week.. waiting on another weld fitting. Not sure how im connecting in the back, so I'm going to weld a (thats 16an orb) a 20an if I can. That way I can put a barb for push hose or make up an AN hose if I end up doing a different ic pump

Came with all the small holes...asked my welder if he wanted to just cut the whole side off and weld on a new one, its going to the back so I don't really care either way

The insulation I've got has an adhesive back, sticks pretty awesome, about 3/4 thick, won't be in direct contact with anything hot so should do good

Not sure if I want to mount pump right on the tank or down a little, the 1.5" hose would be much better for inlet flow to the pump, not sure if it'll be needed or help

laid out like so insulated on every side, need to build a flat shelf for it to sit on and weld a couple tabs on the side to mount to the fender

Hooked the heater core (s) back up...was in the 40s a few times this week. Removed the Turbo blanket also...got drenched when it was blowing oil out, kinda hoping it would cook it all out and be gtg, but it dont...getting all hard and crusty, turning black and smoking

other than that kinda been slackin :anitoof:

there was a cars and coffee thing at the track last night (friday) but only for slicks/radial tires so couldnt run - didnt feel like parking way out in the field so i paid to be in the "car show" kinda lame, they piled everyone in and if you werent on the perimeter you were pretty much blocked in till everyone else left - i left it in there for a while then started filling up and i was like yea f that and moved into the drag racer pits lol. walked around, watched some fast cars, helped a few friends out. had a few fukaround runs with some cars on the way home, tried to taunt a lambo a little but he wasnt interested :(

Nice you fit that big of a tank in there. That’s where the tank for my intercooler is. The plastic one that came with the Whipple developed a leak so I bought an aluminum one that was a replica of the one I had, kind of found it by mistake looking through tanks one day. I think it only holds about 3 quarts though. You’re about out of room under the hood aren’t you?
