We looked at some new construction homes and all of them had something we didn't like. If this goes the way we want, we'll hopefully have something we like and are happy with. Our land was not exactly what I originally had in mind, but it's shaping up to be. Keep an open mind when looking and know that you can change a lot on the land side of things with some work.Im following your thread and the yetis for inspiration.
Unless something preexisting falls into my lap, building new might be the only logical option when/if the time comes.
im so indecisive myself, i feel like id have a horrible time trying to build a home. It’s just an idea though. I’m not picky so I don’t mind pre existing, just hard to find something that checks all the boxes in this particular area. I have to branch further away from all major highways and that adds to our daily commute drastically. We looked at some new construction homes and all of them had something we didn't like. I'm getting a little anxious about all of this as it's getting closer. Hoping I made the right decisions on multiple things. There's no "how to" in any of this, and I'm very much a person that likes to follow directions, so it's been a bit of a challenge. There's definitely things I'd do differently now that I've done some things. Not really the end result, just how we're getting there.
