lol yeah i drive it every day and on the streets. spools are basically full time locked rear axle's there supposed to be for off road use for full traction all the time. but my tranny is barely holding on anymore.

its alot easier to whip out now though.

lol no its ****** from my 383 haha. i only have 1st and 3rd now. and 3rd is barely holding anymore. it pops out into 1st some times (under WOT)

but yes spools are the best way to find weak links.

that really sucks. i might take mine out on tuesday. next month is my 18th bday so i'll probably get some cash and i will buy a locker i guess. i don't have crazy horsepower so i should be good. so if anyone wants a 30 spline spool by auburn gear let me know!!!

Keep it dick! I was referring to your tranny with 200+k on it and stick ticking after all the abuse.

My truck and yours makes me wonder...when people ***** bout the 60e.

update: took the spool out today. reason for removal was i broke it in 4 different spots, just cracked into pieces, so back to normal rear and saving for a trutrac

That was short lived... 14 Bolt SF for me on Saturday~! 4.10's and open differentials yeeeehaaaaa! lol. I can't wait for those big brake drums!

I think the change from 3.73 - 4.10 is gonna make a nice difference since I'm running mud tires.
