From Google:

The "T37" Pontiac refers to a series of muscle cars produced in 1970 and 1971, known for being a stripped-down, budget-friendly model based on the Lemans platform. Originally part of the Tempest series, the T37 was offered with a variety of engines, including powerful V8s, and was sometimes dressed up with the GT-37 performance package. These cars were utilitarian by default but could be optioned with performance features, making them a versatile and sometimes potent muscle car.

Key features
    • Base model:
The T37 was a base model, intended to be cheaper than comparable cars and came with basic features like a six-cylinder engine, cloth bench seat, and rubber floor mats.
    • Performance options:
Despite its base nature, it was available with a range of V8 engines, including the 400 and the more powerful 455 H.O., which was a rare option.
    • GT-37 package:
A performance-oriented package called the GT-37 was available in 1970 and 1971, which added features like a GTO-type dual exhaust, chrome bumpers, Rally II wheels, and hood pins.
    • Body styles:
The T37 was offered in a few body styles, including a two-door sedan and a two-door hardtop.
    • Model year confusion:
While the T37 name was introduced as a submodel in 1970, it fully replaced the Tempest nameplate for the 1971 model year, leading to some confusion about its production dates

Are they junk?
Usually anything English is junk.
My old friend had an Aston Martin DB9….. It road like a fork lift. ‘Performance suspension’ was designed to ride on a billiard table, not a real road. I’d ride over a regular bump, and thought I needed to visit the dentist.

There's Smith electrics. I've never heard of a Smith gage getting complimented.

I saw a documentary once that claimed the Titanic's sinking began long before it ever even got wet.

The show blamed the shoddy quality of the manufactured steel, and of the ship's assembly/construction, by the British unions.

Still a working commercial vehicle at the muster Saturday to get one of the Jeeps running
I was raised by a mechanic that always ran utility beds so I can appreciate that rig.

Actually that is one truck I never owned was one with a nice utility body on it. I had this home made one I made out of some steel cabinets back when I used to have a stick welding business.

Imagine making some schlep stand out in the snow storm with a 35 mm camera while Biff stands in front of his homemade rig with a frown on his face, hands in his pockets whilst tugging on his Jimmy.....and all that to take a fuzzy picture :slap: I can hear Biff now. "Hurry up, take the picture Tommy and make it a good 'un"
