I was actually on the list to buy one of the Pontiac G8 Sport, since I am a huge fan of Pontiac... Then a couple months latter the salesman called and told me the bad news...

Yep a fail by GM when you read the story. There are some variations of that G8 that are amazing over there SS and SSVs. I have posted previously. They just looked and sounded good.

They do the same thing here in Jersey, state and local. Usually the small antenna on the roof gives them away.

They just got some blank white pickups to patrol 202 south of here. I seen a few new Chevy sedans local PD got only thing that give them away is the municipal tags. Still hard as hell to spot.
