No worries. Glad you joined this forum. By far probably one of the best around especially for the Yukon. >>Let's see some pics.<<

Plenty of good guys with so much info. You could read for days and all the cool mods and unreal trucks over the years will set your hair on fire. Lurk, ask questions, dig thru the threads..plus the off topic threads are pretty interesting as well.

OBS = GMT400 = 1988-1999

NBS = GMT800 = 2000-2006

NNBS = GMT900 = 2007-2014

NNNBS = 3NBS = K2XX = GMT1000 = 2015+

NNNNBS = Coming soon

Subie is a 97 type R turbo manual STI

Good looking Subies and the Clubsport as well.

I'll say again lol let's see some pics and info about the truck, mods, kms, etc....etc...lol

Hereare some links to get you started.
If you are super in depth, start a build thread or just say hello in this next link for your year Yukon. Tons of info there about your generation. Although getting parts for us down south here is just a bit tougher than the USA :(

Here's the OBS section>>

https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/categories/1991-1999-tahoe-yukon-models.35/

If you really want to get lost in members build threads, start here>>

Don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Yes currently located on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Moved here in October 2020 from Florida. Left behind the Tahoe and Suburban to TYF members so they are still holding the candle and keeping their legacy going lolol....:)

Sweet!
Thanks for the info.Guess I'll have to look at the vin plate to sus the other info. XL,SLT?Here are some pics of the truck. 97 yukon ex japan to NZ 114k miles 5.7 Vortec Just stating on Suspension. Have done front sway bushes. 5 mins ago dropped rear sway(can tell this was assembled swaybar 1st petrol tank 2nd)[emoji849]
Gotta love them to lie on your back doing 22000000 1/8 turns with the wrench to drop the carrier) lesson learned. Should have waited until 4" drop kit is here and I was taking tank n leaf's out to do the job.
Am slowly working my way through threads. Have learned a bit from the wealth of knowledge on here already. Cant wait to get it handling good so I can look at engine mods for some yummy power!20210120_152811.jpg20210214_142558.jpg20210120_152741.jpg20210214_142209.jpg

Sweet Yukon. Still left hand drive too. Paint looks good from pics. Got any interior or engine pics too.

Be interested to see what specs come up from the VIN or maybe there is the RPO codes sticker in the glove box?

Might be able to get a build sheet with the VIN. There were some members who were able to obtain them.

Cannot recall offhand. Maybe someone else will chime in with that info.

Engine bay
Have added a KnN high flow air cleaner. Cleaned map sensor and trimmed the restrictor plate from the throttle body butterfly. No extra power but reckon it's more punchy from idle at the lights. 20210214_164512.jpg20210214_164534.jpg

Great pics. Always good to see the “slightly used gens” lol still looking good.

With all those pics and info you should put together a build thread. Some good info and always room for another thread to share history, progress and get insight as you post up.

:2cents:

Thx for sharing. :waytogo::waytogo:
