Parasitic drain

Hey y'all

I'm here to do a little brain picking if I might ..
My sister bought the truck brought it home and I looked she parked it for 3 months .. she's just now decided to stàrt let me work on it .. I bought the battery after finding out it was dead and charging wasn't going to recover .. then it killed the new battery .. my 1st thought was the door switch .. cargo light on dash was on .. I have gotten that off .. but .. the clock still stays on and the interior light stays on .. my next step is the radio .. they have installed an aftermarket .. it is the wrong one .. does not fit ECT .. I will be tearing out today per sisters instructions ..

I know that it's a power wire to the ignition .. is that a separate wire for that ?? Or is that in the main wiring harness to the stereo ??

Is this the 2002 that's been indicated in other posts? If so, let us know so we can move it to the proper year forum. No need to start another thread, this one can be moved.

Until we know for certain what year this is, it will be difficult to advise.

BTW, the abbreviation for "et cetera" is "etc."
