Always loved these full sized GM SUVs and finally got a chance to own one when I bought our 2006 Escalade as a DD for my wife. She insisted on the Diamond white/tan color combo, so it took awhile to track a nice one down, especially here in the rust belt. Ended up getting this out of Alberta, where it's much drier, so it's totally rust free.
We got back in May of 2016 and have been driving it since, bringing the maintenance up to date and solving little issues along the way. It's finally pretty close to where I want it.
I hope you guys enjoy the pics. I know I've found this site very useful in bringing the old Escalade back to it's former glory.
Pics are from late summer - I wasn't a fan of the factory 20's originally, but they've grown on me.
I am really a big GM guy, especially F-bodies, so we've got a few of those:
My 97 SS (just bought 2 weeks ago, needs a serious detailing still)
My 85 Trans Am...Pictured with the wife @ Trans Am Nationals in Dayton OH last summer
The wife's 96 Firebird (her daily until we got the Escalade)
My 84 Camaro
I've also got this Sonoma that I've owned since Highschool
And an SLK320 for summer cruisin along the lake
Lastly, a 78 MGB for when I feel like fixing stuff
