Have a 2007 yukon denali 6.2 liter. Have an oil leak that isn't the rear main seal. Trying to figure out where it could be coming from. Oil drips off of the oil filter but the filter is tight. 2 pictures kind of show you where it's wet on drivers side. Thanks1000003055.jpg20240219_113529.jpg1000003055.jpg

Classic leak spot is that little block-off plate with a bulge in it just above the oil filter. The cover warps over time and the thing starts to leak. Putting on a new seal won't stop the leak. Buy a new billet cover with an integrated o-ring, and you'll be good to go. Careful with the torque spec there also. They're small bolts threaded into aluminum. I *think* the spec is 106 INCH pounds.

Update: I have found TWO torque specs for those bolts - both from GM on different vehicles with LS V8s. One lists it as 80 inch pounds and the other lists it as 106. Having personally stripped one of those bolts out, followed by the joy of installing a helicoil in the hole with zero room to work, I would err on the lesser side and stop at 80 inch pounds. And, I suspect ICT includes an additional torque spec for their screws with the kit.

Edit: Link to the correct one without the oil pressure gauge port: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...SKtCLceXS3OtJTnVp-ys8r4vlihtImEBoCLCcQAvD_BwE

does that one come with a plug for the sensor hole? I almost got that on cause I like anything ict I've used. but couldn't tell and it is probably the odd metric sensor size?

I went with a different one, china one which prefer not to do.

It's a blockoff plate and has no hole for any kind of sensor.
