Thank you sir. Its going to be a summer vehicle mainly. I only drive 2 miles to work, and i take the gfs Malibu when we go 30+ miles. Tahoe will be staying around for now as a people hauler/winter vehicle. I want a new truck, but i have a hard time getting rid of it when theres nothing wrong with it and I will be driving this as much as i can.

Thats what im thinking. Had my heart set on the TBSS reps, but im not waiting half of the summer to have wheels. They are super clean. I hope that GMC is available in black (like the picture looks)

Thinking of going Hankook RH06s in 275/45/20.

Ya the more i look at them, the more I like them. I had always liked them, but never really thought of them again. I think the black GMC caught my eye lol. Nice and clean

Well wiring swap for the 4l80e is done, fan harness in, fuel pump in and wired with the hotwire kit. Tomorow night it all goes back in and starts getting hooked up. Front driveshaft and Magnaflow 18" 4"x9" 3" in/out is ordered. That should be the last of it. Just waiting on injectors and hopefully start it up next week. Also got the new leaf spring bushings in and shes sitting level.

O ya, I ordered those Texas edition 20s with Hankook RH06s in 275/45/20. Should be here next week. **** I hope im done ordering stuff....until the interior swap

Got the motor in on Friday night. Thats about where it sits now. Injectors should show up on Thursday, so ill spend the next few days getting everything hooked up.

Had to change the oil pressure sensor as my truck is wired for a 1 wire sensor and the motor had a newer style. No biggie once I found a socket big enough to get it out.

Also had to get a new neutral saftey switch. Realized it was broken as I was about to put it in. The little shit is killing me!

Muffler shower up, along with leaf spring bushings. Front shaft should be here tomorrow. New 02s are in as well. I think Thats everything. Wheels should be here by the end of the week I would think. Hope to be driving it by the weekend and get started on some tuning with Justin.

Pain in my ass. A new style plug was added at some point with a new fuel pump. My hotwire kit needed the old stock plug to work. Luckily I kept my pigtail from a pump swap 4 years ago.

Thank you sir.

Got everything hooked up underneath last night. Tonight finish the headers and exhaust, trans cooler lines, and get my intake put on.

Waiting on my tune to start it up, hopefully it shows up today or tomorrow!

Getting closer. Got the exhaust all in, trans cooler lines made and run, intake on, everything hooked up wire wise. Front driveshaft fit perfectly (from a 2008 Dmax). Had to dent in the headers just slightly to clear the Ujoint cap bolts.

Got my tune from Justin yesterday, so hopefully starting it up today! My new dipstick tube that I bought broke in my hands. It was rusted from the inside so idk what was up with that. Once I have that, should be able to fill it with fluids

Its on the road. Got it running yesterday and drove it around tonight. Pretty easy on it since im on a fairly basic tune, but everything works. Its pretty scary fast. I dont think I got above 40% throttle and that was enough to whip it around going about 25. Need to get the exhaust finished (wanting to run 3" all the way back to dump behind the bumper). Ill work on a video or 2.

haha! pretty much sums it up. I drove it back to work on lunch, part throttle from 40-80 is effortless. If i roll into the throttle from a stop, once I get past half throttle its just smoke. Getting the Tru-trac and the rest of the exhaust done on Wed.

Have a damn oil leak. Somewhere from the oil pan. Hopefully I just have to snug it up a bit. Those gaskets are a pain in the ass.
