0EFCA819-E1DB-4008-8162-1DCE189721B3.jpeg Hey all, new guy from Alberta, Canada here. Found the site and figured I’d join to gain some more insight into Tahoes before pulling the trigger one on. I’ve been running strictly GM trucks for the last 9 years since I started learning about performance modifications so the SUV chassis, although similar, is something I’m unfamiliar with. I was happy to see that not all forums are dead and I look forward to learn some stuff before I dive in head first into the new project this spring! Cheers!

Welcome from NJ, glad to have you. That's a good looking 4 door you have. Any mods done to it?

thanks man! 2012 5.3/6L80E, 3.73 gears, BTR 231/242 cam, yank ss4000, speed engineering 1-7/8”. Nothing too crazy, but it spun a rod bearing earlier this year and I kind of fell out of love with it. Learned a lot with it and feel like starting fresh with something else haha

Nice. I have sort of similar. 03 Tahoe with 6.0, btr stage 3 cam with 3000 Circle D stall, 1 3/4 Speed Engineering long tubes--also have 3.73's. My old 6.0 spun a cam bearing.

Thank you, and 2010-2014, I’d like to stick with a 6L80 as I already know how tough they are, and have a 4000 stall for one laying around haha
