I’ve got 4G up and running in the 09 and integrated into the OEM ‘13 SD card Navi that’s in the truck. The 4G VCIM is a preloved unit from an upgraded 09 Hybrid. Before I make the thread I’m trying to source new parts to clone the 2/3G 2011 VCIM I was running that added all the 2011+ / OnStar 10 features that allows a cell phone control and communication to the truck. I’ll have more info in a few weeks.

The bottom line is OnStar dumped 2/3G exactly like they dumped analog to digital service in ‘06. It allows them to dump millions & millions of accounts (data) with zero responsibility servicing equipment that’s less lucrative.

OnStar did a similar deal with VW/Audi in 03-06 and signed a deal to install equipment in some vehicles without any notice that equipment was going obsolete in 10-20 MO’s. VW lost millions and was was stuck with obsolete analog O/S equipment installed in their vehicles.

A Navy facility in Panama City, FL. It was for about 5 days over the weekend I believe. They did most of their flying at night.
ah, I was west of there at Hurlburt Field in Fort Walton Beach FL. Yea, we mostly did night ops crap. The Air Force variants were almost exclusively used for spec ops missions/transport.

Welcome & congrats. You’ve pretty much have a debaged Escalade. They’re crazy fast and made for safe navigation in the rain. After 100k they’re due for new injectors but will give a choppy idle if left alone. It’s a 300k+ mile motor we’re finding out. On you shopping list include replacements for the heater hoses and T’s and a GM clone scan tool to diagnose, chase and remotely operate all your accessories like a boss.

You can also painlessly update your module to add the factory 09-14 steering wheel controlled factory Bluetooth for calling. The factory 2/3G OnStar is officially dead at the end of this year but ping me if you’re interested in acquiring factory 4G service with digital mapping and BT options. We just did this to our 09.
Thanks! Yea, that's why I wanted one! I Really liked every Escalade/Denali I've ridden in/drove. Heater hoses, got it. What are Ts? Just ordered the Tech2 today.
It has an aftermarket touchscreen pioneer head unit in it.

Could be, we're just guessing without the Tech-2 which will usually tell you in mere moments what is wrong. It can also program your remotes and initiate the TPMS relearn (with EL-50448) in a short time as well. Don't need to connect to internet or have subscription for either of those tasks.
I did order it, hopefully it'll get here asap and I can figure this stuff out!

The T's in the heater hoses are the Achilles heel of cooling system. Here's the read on how Gruven spec'd out some custom billet parts to address the inherent weaknesses of the plumbing.

Ckick on the shortcut icon (circle with the arrow inside) below to jump over the middle of the read on what they did ...

Just received the email where he shipped today... I'm guessing they should be here by the end of the week... there are pics of the actual parts on Gruvens website now though...

Found here...

Here are his pics...

Oh, about CE1, I would read your owner's manual about how it works. If you suspect it is not working right, then the Tech-2 and AllData shop manual will help you fix it.
Got my tech 2 in.

Looks like you've got your work cut out for you!

Create a build thread for your truck or do a thread for each one, your preference.

When you start tackling these, make note of the 2 digit symptom code after each trouble code and look to see whether the code is current or historical.

Then, when you delve into the shop manual for a particular code, they will often list right away all the codes to solve first before yours.
