Picked up a new to me 2006 Yukon Denali and the driver speaker wasn't working. While fixing that (bad connection) I noticed a wire spliced into the driver door module plug connector. Pictures are below of a couple spots under the steering column that had wires spliced into and then cut like whatever it was had been uninstalled.

Any ideas on what it was? Security, remote start, tracking system?

Wire tapped under driver control module switch-

Found this beside the driver seat.. Don't know if this is factory or part of whatever was under the dash.

Thanks for any insight. Vehicle runs and drives great so I don't think there are any negative side effects.
