Hello guys I'm new here just bought an 1998 2dr Tahoe 4wd 5.7 L Vortec with 210,000 miles last week for $800.00 I work at a car service center only thing it needed was a compressor $156.00 and a heater core $30.00 a new windshield and passenger window $200.00 together. However I pulled out all the carpet as it was a work truck and carpet smelled and was nasty dirty and put in bedliner $89.00. this will be an ongoing project glad to find somewhere to share it with and learn from. now a question having hard time finding rocker panels for 98 2dr tahoe any tips also debating on blacking it out or making it black and chrome kinda depends upon which rocker panels i can find posting pics tom glad to be here

Sounds like a good deal. Post some pics of the project when you get a chance. Sounds like you did great on that one.
