Converting my 2016 Tahoe front end into the 2016 Yukons front end

Okay so I’m wanting to swap my 2016 Chevy Tahoe front end for a 2016 gmc’s Yukon front . Don’t ask why I just want to lol.

Says on ChatGpt that this would be possible du to being similar chassis but i wanted to ask if anyone has every done it.

I’m just looking to switch the front end panels to that of the Chevy Yukon. Suspension is already done with Billstein level kit

Hey, if the OP wants to try that mod, then I salute him for trying it out. I'm sure that plenty of folks consider some/most of my mods to be a fools errand, and that's OK with me.

One thing that I have noticed over the years, is that every mod is a learning opportunity. I've never come away from a significant mod, without learning something.

Knowledge is power.

Now, in full transparency, I will say that the primary lesson learned from some of my mods was, 'Don't ever try that again!'

Why shoot someones idea down? If op wants to do it let him do. He’s looking to see if anyone has done and what is needed, not your opinion on his project. He doesn’t want another truck, he wants his with a different look. Custom, you like stock keep yours stock he wants what he wants, not what you want or think he should do.
I had a an 81 monte carlo LS, i wanted an SS so i swapped the nose and deck lid and some interior pieces… i wanted what i wanted. To each their own.

At a minimum you need hood, fenders, headlights, grill, bumper cover and maybe even a core support and some wiring. Maybe not on the core support or wiring but your best bet would to find a yukon that was wrecked from the rear and buy the whole front clip and youll have everything you need.

Have you considered maybe custom grill inserts and headlights like Morimoto for the existing platform to make it different and stand out?

The older I get, the more complacent and lazy I get.......yea, sounds right. I have accomplished much in my life and been 2/3rds of the way around the world and been in many countries and cities. I have seen exciting and crazy things. I flew off and back on to an aircraft carrier. I stepped in Iran before it became a huge terrorist regime. I saw the "Thrilla in Manila" and have the pics to prove it. I saw Dale Earnhart Sr. win the Brickyard 400. I rode to and was at the 50th Anniversary at Sturgis South Dakota on my first year 1990 Harley Davidson Fat Boy, better known as "The Grey Ghost". I have stepped in and eaten a meal, in all 50 states. I have been in Guam, Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, Mombasa, Kenya, Japan and through Canada when went to Alaska with my owner operator truck driver dad. I know I am leaving some things out but these are the highlights.

So....I stand by my opinion and right of wanting to ask "WHY" even when asked not to. It is a comment. It is a question. It is my choice to cross that line. I will live with the repercussions no matter how major or trivial they are.....because I am a through and through......SMART A!S!S.....I rest my case.
