We decided it was time for a new family rig so we upgraded to a 2007 Suburban LT with 125k on it and in great shape. It already came with the 20" KMC Stitch wheels and already I plan to tint the front windows, led headlights and possibly a cat back exhaust.

thanks.

Got some things on my list.

Tire sensor to fix
Backdoor only power closes half the time.
Middle Seats power fold half way ( thinking maybe they need some grease)
Replace burnt out DRLs with some LEDs http://www.amazon.com/JDM-ASTAR-Lumens-AX-2835-Chipsets/dp/B00G2TV7OG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1410494517&sr=8-3&keywords=3157+LED

My wife wants a full brush guard but I'm afraid it will just look like a cop rig and I wonder how it would look painted white. The only thing i like about one of these is we live where people hit a lot of deer on the roads.

no to brush guard unless you do prerunner style. Then it would look border patrol.

Ha ha agreed I think there is a white Tahoe here in town with a black brush guard and it's either border patrol or a fire chief.

I gotta find a better alternative to a full brush guard, I do like the look of that prerunner bar. I would like more lighting for my night skiing trips off the mountain this winter.

I got a question concerning the v8/v4 mode. We rarely seen the v4 mode when cruising on the highway. Earlier this summer on a Alaska trip we rented a 2015 burb and it went into v4 mode all the time.

Thought I'd share my old burb too. I've had this rig for 8 years now and after I repainted it and replacing the 350 two years ago. All within week this year I was t-***** and lost a rod bearing so it is currently on the back burner in the garage.

Damage isn't major but a huge punch to my gut after all the work I put into the paint job. I ended up with a decent insurance claim and after sitting in the bank and no time this summer to repair it, I use it down on the new sub.

I started with it looking like... paint was almost all gone off the roof

Yeah damage definitely looks repairable! You've brought her a long ways it looks like. I can understand your disappointment over the wreck. If it was me I'd just take a break then get her back in shape once I got over the disappointment :)

Thought I'd post an update here on my old square body burb. Pulled the 350 and had it rebuilt and all back together. I also did a 2.5" lift and a 8 lug 3/4ton swap with a 14 bolt full floater rearend. Just finished up the last pieces to the swap today and washed it. Currently waiting on my new wheels and tires to arrive from discount.
