If you get those speakers they dont sound right if you dont have a big enough box. I had 2 12s and my box took up the entire back it didnt really sound right.

in high school I got a pair of JL 15W0 from a buddy for really cheap...since then i have never gone with a different brand

granted the W0 series is discontinued but now they have W0v2 and thats what i have now i have 2-10" JL W0v2. They sound very clean and loud when i want them to be

and you cant beat the price of the W0v2...i think i paid 100 bucks each

you can't beat 3 ten's with 12db of boost at 45hz.

ten's are cheap, and three are same as 2 12's, and you can swap/trade/try out more brands, and you have more voice coils to properly match the desired impedance of the amp.

get ones that use a small volume, and make a box about six inches tall, and takes up the entire rear floor. put the speakers near the front so you can stack stuff in the back, on the box.

FWIW, i have an infinity bass link in another vehicle: clean, clear, dynamic, but does NOT pound, but it takes up no real space.

DVC subs, even in a pair, can match any impedance to the amplifier. You dont need three subs to work. two properly done 12's can be louder than three 10's.

I've always been partial to Rockford Fosgates but it's been a while since I've had to worry about it, unfortunately :whymewhyme: Marriage and kids kinda put that by the wayside temporarily! :banghead:

Diamond Audio, Fi, JL, Sundown Audio...take your pick. Personally, I really like SA, they hae fantastic customer service and usually run pretty good deals.

I have always gone with Rockford for everything but right now I am bumping two Orion HCCA 12" with a Rockford T40001bd and let me tell you the bass is insanely loud. One advice I can give you is don't go cheap on any of the system. If you have a budget look for something that is of equal quality to each item of your system. Don't go expensive on the subs if you cant spend the same cash on an appropriate amp. Also leave enough money for additional items needed bigger alt., 2nd battery, Caps and wiring upgrade.

Budget?
Space for system?
What kind of music?

Not every budget space and music are universal components of a quality system.
