Hello new here, I was under my 07 tahoe today removing my spare tire and discovered this. Can anyone tell me what this is and do I need to put it somewhere? Thanks

Gas tank vent line? Usually attaches higher up near the filler tube

Welcome to the forum from Oregon. I knew one of these "Yah Who's" would know what it was. I wanted to plug it in to something and see what happens. No fun at all!

I had to replace mine last year. I secured that hose up the top of the filler neck with zip ties and it eventually slipped down. I didn't make them that tight because that flexible hose tubing is thin walled and crushes easily. I wound up running a zip tie around one of the vent fins and through a spot on the filler neck mount under the fuel door area and it's been good to go.
