Need a new Ring and Pinion

My mechanic finaly got around to my hoe and figured that my ring and pinion and some other stuff down there went out. Forgot what but anyways. He needs to know if I want to use OEM or some other brand. Any recomendations? Thanks guys!

Another question, do the front and rear gear ratios have to be the same or can they be different? Im tryin to do some research casue I dont know squat about anything back there or much else for that matter. Thanks guys

Front and rear have to be the same if you want to use 4wd
