Does the newer body style bumper just bolt right up to this particular body style?

just bolts on

Pretty badass but that chrome is killin me :fuckyea:

Meh... it's not overdone. BUT, if I keep it, all the chrome is going a mid-to-dark bronze. And then I'll colormatch the headlights.

Pretty much. It's been a few years since I did it, but I believe the frame brackets and all are the same. Just had to do some light work with the trailer plug, IIRC.

trailer plug plugged right in for me

It might have just been something with my buddy's truck. Maybe it was that the newer bumper he had didn't have the trailer socket and I had to adapt the one from his old bumper to it.

Not sure yet. Definitely a truck between 1947 and 1980


Right on! I have a 72 that is in dire need of some love (which I plan on getting to some day). I am also partial to the 58 and 59 Apache Fleetside. Just love the look, whether fully restored or rockin' the patina, they all look great.

Looking forward to seeing pics of what you get next!
