My Hoe does not know when to stop!

Having some braking problems, seems like when I go to stop sometimes I get a lot of pedal resistance, it gets real stiff and then it will let go and I have full pedal. Seems to be doing it on icy and dry roads. Anyone have similar problems? Im kind of thinking ABS sensor but im not brake expert by any means, thoughts? suggestions? Thanks

Make sure your reservoir isn't over-filled. Another thing can be the take-up valve inside the master cylinder or swollen cups. These are pretty common problems that might also mean you have contaminated brake fluid... FLUSH the whole system with fresh fluid.
