yeah that black plastic, that's what I thought they might be different, since I am doing afm delete will need to get new 4 trays for non afm.

Good call... The plastic can get brittle over time. Cheap insurance for your new valve train.

Totally depends on the part and the line. The advantage stuff will most likely all be Chinese. The pro stuff is all over the map, including straight up rebranded parts like Moog in a delco box. The OE line is your best bet for quality mostly from North America.
