Did the Magnaflow about 400 miles ago and it was better then stock, but still too quiet for me. Did the SLP delete today and it's much better. Has the growl I like, but quiet enough for the family.

I just installed the Borla pro xs muffler, since I already have the slp tips... And the sound is amazing. No drone at all and idle is just a deep rumble outside the truck. But at WOT the truck sounds like a completely different animal. The wife even loves the sound.

Looks sounds great

How much louder than stock was it with the **** alone?

Id say only slightly louder. only slightly to the point that i am not sure if someone else would even notice the difference if you didnt point it out.

The large ugly can to the rear of the passenger side rear wheel just before the exhaust exit. The exhaust resonator. The SLP resonator delete makes it look and sound much better than stock.

I am a newbe on this forum and don't know all this stuff. Thanks!

So if I get rid of that it will make my stock muffler have a more noticeable tone??

Cool.... I have been looking at doing a Magnaflow but the guy at the shop has been trying to sell me on a flowmaster.
I have done them before but every time I have done something to tone it down.

I have had great luck with the Magnaflows.

I am in Nashville TN and never had any issues.

I have one on my Jeep that spends more time off road than on and it has been great for 5 years now.

It says on the instructions. I'll dig mine up if you don't have any.

When I did mine I left as much pipe as I could on the truck half.

You can play with it and adjust it like you want. Mine is so flush it almost touches the bumper. No melting issues whatsoever. I had mine for almost 2 years now I think.
