ok i took my intake off to take a look at my lifters. my question is should a lifter have some play if u press it with the push rod by hand... other words i took a lifter out and press a push rod into it no moment at all... i found 3 like this

I believe if it bleeds down about 1/16th" within 5 to 50 seconds then they are bye bye. There is a specialty tool that tests them but if you can bottom it out in no time then chuck them. As long as they are roller lifters you can put new ones on an old camshaft and new cam with old lifters.

ok i took them all 16 out...... 15 of them have a little play 3 of them was not moving at all..... im kinda lost.... should a lifter have a little play or not thanks...... a shop told me that it should have a little play.....

If they are solid, then no, no play. Hydraulic will have a lil.

You marked which holes these came out of right??

And when does 15+3=16??
