This looks so nice!!! I have a 09 Tahoe LT 2wd. I want to lift it and give it the "look" without going crazy. I have a few questions and I apologize if you have said this already. This is a long thread..lol! What is the lift size and the tire and wheel combo? Also do you have a measurement of the roof height? I have a parking garage at work that will limit how high I can go on my truck. Again, great looking truck!

It's a Fabtech 6" kit with 35 on 17x9. Not sure of roof height but guessing 7'6" with that rack.

Hi. Thanks for the compliments. ~80" rack adds another ~6". I needed a heavy duty rack for gear. Here's a picture of the wheel/tire. If need any other info let me know. Also thanks to Konvict for assist.0b5cbd6ce5dafed9c424362c204043fa.jpg

Guys who have trimmed (not removed) the air dam - how did you do it? Reciprocating saw and sand down the edges? I want to chop off about 2-2.5" off the bottom of mine while to gain me a bit of clearance while keeping a stock look.

To trim the air dam leave it in place. Trace with a sharpie marker on the back side where it still covers the bumper tabs. Remove from truck cut with a dremel plastic cut off wheel. Block sand it to smooth and uneven lines. Put on vehicle and check lines covering bumper tabs.

01Konvict, thanks! I'll tackle that project soon.

This one's not mine, but I was searching the internet for leveled NNBS pics, found this blacked out Yukon, and just had to share it. Yukon XL on 285/70r17 and 2.5" front only.

@battlewagon did you ever get those pro comp drop brackets on the rear and did it fix the issue? Post some pics!

Yes great timing on your part actually, the day you posted, was the day I dropped it off for round two at the suspension shop.

I already had the wheel spacers on. Helped, but barely, and may have just been a placebo effect.

Just picked the truck up, and it is good to go. My boys there installed the drop brackets, as well as replaced the sway bar end links with new bushings. They did it incrementally; the sway bar end links helped, and they pulled it back in and put the brackets on. 100% fix. Now I can drive at 75 on the highway without fear of losing my life.

Thanks for the info, help, and support during my journey 01Konvict!

My brother has a very rare Red PPV for sale in Raleigh, please spread the word Konvict; VERY nice truck, leather, etc http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/5874319078.html . If I didn't have the Suburban, I would buy it off him. Imagine that thing with some black 24s <3
