I'd still rebuild it with a nice locker and a nice diff cover like a Mag Hytec. And re-paint it. Better than putting all that money in that garbage 10 bolt. How far away is this from you? And post your findings.

only problem with the first one is that it has 3.73 and i need 3.42's because i dont want to regear the front second have not heard what the ratio is in it yet

so you took it to the dealership to get it rebuilt so they could put the same crappy parts back in there

Buy it and re-gear that one then. I would much rather have 3.73's over 3.42 like I have now. My 3.42 don't turn the 285's real well especially on the freeway.
