There are plenty of great how to's out there, here is what I found that I had not seen. I used a Craftsman 1/2 inch ratchet with a Craftsman 3 inch ext, a Cobalt 3 inch wobble ext and a 6 point 1 1/16 socket. Biggest thing was the 1 1/16 socket I used a 12pt 27mm to remove the original and had to pound the sender out with a screw driver on the pavement, if I installed with the 12 pt there is no way I could have gotten the socket off with the sender installed. Lowes only sells 12 pts in the needed sizes so Autozone has the 6 pts and cheaper. I used a Harbor Freight torque to install. A 20 minute job.
