I know this is an old post, but these won't effect the ride height will it?

Completely dependent upon the amount of air in the bags, they usually lift 1/2" with around 5psi in the bags.

Right....Can you not run any in the bags until you need them?

I'd keep a few psi in them at all times, makes these trucks ride smoother. I have a nice little resolution for those who wish to keep a firm ride but don't want the added height of helper bags. For towing these are almost essential especially with lowering springs that lack a high spring rate.

Well, I don't always haul stuff its just once in a great while. What would you do if you were in my shoes? If it will raise it up, then I will just go with out helpers.

Thanks
Elliot

At least 5psi, which troubles some people on here that want to be low but won't bother you after experiencing the exponentially better comfort in ride.

Similar question to above ...

2001 Tahoe completely stock as far as suspension is concerned ...

I have the Firestone kit and am thinking about tackling the install myself. Any pitfalls or experiences you guys can share before I start something I'm not able to finish!

Also, did you guys install the "support" disk on top of the bag?

Thanks guys
