this sound seems to come from underneath the car somewhere. It seems to make this noise when the breaks are used and SOMETIMES when the care is idle, but never when I’m driving or on the highway or really on the gas at all honestly. Please help! Thanks!

That sounds like a heat shield rattling, most likely unrelated to the brakes, if you cant find the source of the rattle then take it to a muffler shop those guys will be able to locate the source
there are heat shields under the truck in various places generally along where the exhaust pipe goes, so on the side of the transmission, side of the gas tank, and both catalytic converters have heat shields, and sometimes the firewall can touch on the exhaust. get a rubber mallet and start banging on the heatshields under the truck you should be able to find it

slide under the truck as much as you can, then take your foot and push on things, likely the exhaust so id start with the pipes and heat shields.

ive got coil air bags in my tahoe, it comes with heat shields to clamp on the exhaust to block heat from the line to the one bag, it came loose and sounded just like that.
