Yeah I'm good with the Transfer Case. I was wondering about mixing brands in the transmission.

The Dex Vl will work with whatever Dexron that the shop put in. I personally would not worry but I would also make the dreaded call and ask what they put in the trans.

Well not wanting to make the dreaded call and get frustrated because of Caller ID and permahold, I Googled that question. It seems any brand has to meet GM's spec in order to be called Dexron VI. So basically, chemistry wise it's all the same.
