How to install my radio.

got a cheap double din from amazon,
had it on other vehicle.

i want to intall it in my 03 escalade but doesnt seem to work

i bought the harness and it doesnt turn on, there is no power to the ignition activated wire. the constant 12v is good.

i have cheked all fuses and nothing. so what i did is got a ignition 12v from somewhere else. and it worked. but now there is no audio at all.

it has the BOSE system

did you get the correct harness ? I had an 02 Tahoe LT with Bose and I had to buy the more expensive one . the amp might not be getting power or signal

CRUX SOOGM-15 GM Wiring Interface and Crux CS-GMC2 Wiring Interface are the 2 on Crutchfield​

The one I bought wouldn't necessarily be compatible with yours.

if you have RPO code Y91, it is the Bose Luxury system which is wired differently thus needing a different harness than the regular Bose Premium found in tahoe/yukon/sub.

IF you went with the cheapy harness without all the modules and stuff. You just need to get 12v from the fuse box inside the cab on a circuit that is controlled via the key like HVAC for example

Then after you get the radio on, you’ll likely need to send remote signal to the factory amp. I forget what color wire that is
