Hack Block, was this successful? I have the ongoing message. About to check all mentioned above in the thread. Thanks in advance to all.
Mine did this once when I overfilled the tank & got the connections wet. Message went away once dry.

On my 2003 Chevy Tahoe my check washer fluid message was coming on at startup about every 10th time and eventually it came on every time I started up the engine. I replaced the sensor and the connector to the sensor and could not find any obvious problems with the wiring. The change engine oil message came on more recently and when I cleared that message with my scan tool the check washer fluid message also seems to have disappeared. This could be a coincidence but maybe there's a little confusion in the instrument cluster computer.? It's something to try if the check washer fluid message comes on and won't go away for no apparent reason after checking the system.
