Hood Won't Stay open

The hood springs on my 2006 Escalade seem to have lost tension. The hood will stay open, barely. But if I bump the truck the slams shut. Any suggestions as to how I can tighten the spring tension for the hood?

Found the problem. The spring is missing from the passenger side hood hinge. Have no idea when it came apart. Ordered a set of OE hinges from ebay for ~$30.
