So when you first start the truck it'll go through first gear just fine. But once you get in second it'll act like its starving for fuel and then it'll pick right back up immediately. Only on cold start.

i assume all other gearing is fine and it all goes away when warm. may consider getting on what the tranny temp sensor says to thru out your run.

Tranny fluid is fine. How can I go about testing those two sensors?

And yes it goes away once engine is warm

And is there a Tranny temp gauge I can install?

you need a scan tool to be able to see actual reading while operating. no tranny gauge to install but the sensor does report to the pcm which can be read by scanner. the idea is to make sure the ect represent actual engine coolant temperature so you are looking for reading for a even smooth cold to to hot and same thing with sweep of tps. same thing with tranny temp sensor.the tps and ect can me tested manually but is cumbersome.

Expose the throttle body and then spray the AC Delco carburetor cleaner on the throttle body directly!

This is what I did to my engine few days agao.

By the way you will need an open well ventilated area.

if you do not find any issues with the sensors then move on to getting your fuel pressure checked when engine is cold and hot.
