The truck is 2012 Yukon Denali XL with 90k miles.
This happened since yesterday. I did an oil change and it didn't help.
Please help to diagnose if this is because of the sensor, oil pump, o-ring or something else.
This is my only car. I can work on it during weekend. Just want to make sure I work on the correct path.
Thank you for your kind help.
Best regards.

Well, I didn't hear any knocking when it was a zero for awhile. I'm going to speculate that you have a flakey pressure sender. That would be the easiest, cost effective solution to try on a weekend, or week night. Just look up past threads for input on how to replace it w/o a lot of hassle if you are mechanically inclined and don't mind some scuffed up hands.

Does the engine change sounds at all while this is happening?

wow doing that at idle, looks like a sender to me.
look at the wiring the best you can while doing it, make sure you don't have a short or dirty connection.

Thank you all for advice. I will start from sensor replacement.
I'm confused at what part # is correct for my car. I found different part #. Which one is correct for 2012 Denali 6.2L engine?

1. Amazon ACDelco Store: ACDelco 12673134, Dimensions(LxWxH) 2.9x1.6x1.2 inches (list as not fit 2012 Yukon XL Denali), but view said it fitted 2014 Denali.

2. Amazon ACDelco Store: ACDelco 213-4411/12673134 Dimensions(LxWxH) 2.8x1.6x1.2 inches (list as fit), no view mentioned about Denali.

3. Rockauto: 12673134/Interchange Numbers 2134411

4. Alldata repair manual: 12621234

Rock auto seems to have good info. I'd go with their interchange number. Either would work it looks like. Compare pics and make sure they look the same or very similar

I've read here that it takes a special socket to remove/install pressure sensor

Lisle 13250 is the one.

12673134 is the current number.

12596951 and 12621234 are older numbers. All work.

Some find that removing the intake manifold makes changing the sensor easier. I've removed mine before and if I have to replace my sensors, the intakes are coming off. It's not a big deal and adds only a few more minutes of work and no fooling or contorting with the sensor.

I would recommend a small pick set; it might help grab that screen if it's down in there.
Something like this,

I have a set like this, It's helpful sometimes to be able to bend and modify them.
If it's the same set, then it will bend without breaking.

Harbor freight also has a cheap pick set that's much finer, I might recommend that one for catching the screen over the one I linked above.

I've seen people use a coarse thread wood screw, too, to pull the old screen.

Thank you all for help. I finally had time to work on the problem tonight.
I removed the sensor and screen. They are all clean. The screen was not clogged.
I guessed the problem was from the sensor. Next I will order sensor to replace.
To remove the sensor for me, I had to remove the fuel line connector and brake vacuum hose.
I used a piece of metal sheet to make a small tool to remove the fuel line.
I will report back when I replace the sensor.

Report back. I replaced the oil pressure sensor today. The problem was solved.
I bought the sensor from RA and hope it will last for a few years. Can't trust the sellers on Amazon.
Appreciate for the help from all of you guys.
Best regards.

Did the screen come with it or did you buy that seperately?
