ok so i just put a new motor in the tahoe and a ignition switch. when i plug the battery in the truck tries to start itself without the keys even in it. now i believe the bendix for the ignition switch and the ignition switch itself isnt set right. has anyone ever replaced one?
also on the ignition switch where it meets the bendix u can spin that piece with a screw drive but i dont know which way to put it to off. ive tried this several times and i keep getting the same problem with the truck starting itself, also i did replace the starter relay not that it has anything to do with this i imagine

, what year is your hoe, you might of put it in the wrong forum, maybe that's why nobody has answered your question, aside from that good luck
