Hopefully not to much louder

It's not much of a difference, but I noticed it. I made a video of stock, then the muffler and then one year later (within about half an hour:rolleyes:) for comparison. The one year later vid doesn't sound very different at all. I guess the difference is more noticeable inside. Regardless, it's a very unobtrusive muffler that has a little more bite than the 12589.

If you're interested:

After-

One year later-

More pics of the airhorn wiring harness. It started as a spare foglight harness I had and now I'm adapting/custom fitting for the PPV for a clean airhorn harness that I can tuck and hide.

Do I need an airhorn......nope, but do I want one to **** with people that are to busy texting and driving...... absolutely

Almost identical to mine except I have the MF clone of that muffler. I welded mine in with regular steel wire and the splice piece to make up the length difference was regular 3" aluminized steel exhaust tubing. Wire wheeled it clean, coated it with cold galvanizing compound and "aluminum" colored spray paint and it still looks fresh today, minus the dirt. Road salt isn't a factor here, though.

Give it a couple hundred miles and it'll get a little louder and more aggressive tone to it.

I went with the Magnaflow 12259 muffler and everything is done in stainless. I wanted a one and done solution.

Zury stands behind his work.....so as long as I'm in Maryland I'm covered.

If you want you can download the Tapatalk app. Its an app for online forums and this forum supports it. You just download the app, search tahoe forum and this one comes up and then you just log in. It is much easier for posting any pics and videos

Did you leave the stock resonator in place?

Nope, that was one of the first mods.

If you want the sexy Stainless tips, I bought the kit similar to the SLP kit, bit didn't use it. I'd let it go cheap since you're local

I'm not decided on what to do for exhaust yet. My last 2 SRT cars had Corsa and my wife's Durango has Corsa but I don't think I want to spend that kind of money on exhaust for this truck when I could use it for other things for the truck. I'm surprised you chopped the resonator and don't have any drone with just this muffler

Local guy!

Got a line on a push bumper?

For custom work I'd tell you to contact Wits End Fab in Hanover, MD. Ask for Kenny and let him know I sent you Jeremy aka 1BADI5.

Good dude and they do great work

I'm surprised too.

I chopped the resonator off my 08 LTZ and used the SLP kit. It was super mild.

With no resonator and this Magnaflow.......it's only a nice rumble when you're in it, cruising is nice and tame

Ordered two more mods for the PPV today.....more factory fresh parts.

**** me this build is addictive. Guess I need to take some time off to lower it, freshen up the suspension and finish the exhaust (long tubes and y pipe)
