I have replaced the rear suspension with a Dorman Compressor and Arnott rear shocks with the bypass sensor. These have been great with no issues

I can tell the front struts are reaching their end of life so I want to replace them as well. I was about to do an order from @RockAuto for the Arnott front strut assembly

BUT being a DIY guy I thought why am I not doing a simple set of 25 Watt, 3.9 Ohm resistors and a set of AC Delco front strut assemblies?

That is a $100 savings or I could save even more and go, Monroe,

Any thoughts or recommendations? Any advantage over one or the other outside of cost?

Very happy with Arnott to date but always looking to save a few more bucks especially since I just ordered a TruCool 40k to install....

TIA
