These are made in Germany, heavy duty shocks for the 1/2 ton Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon front struts with a 4" lift.
They are on closeout at Rock Auto for $17 each. They look to be good quality and the billet aluminum lower spring mount is nice.
Not as nice as Bilstein, but not too far behind, and really inexpensive as an alternative.

The are incorrectly categorized as a steering damper, but if you go to alko-shocks.com the part number is correct as a 4" lift front strut for the 07-14.

At 4" of front lift, what else is going to need to be upgraded/swapped? UCAs?

And, has anyone heard of these guys before? I'd be tempted to pick up a set, for **** & pickles.

I could not do 4" lift on mine.
The RC upper control arms worked fine but the Tie rod ends were at too much of an angle and axle as well.
In the pic you can see the tie rod angle and the axle was also at to great an angle even with a 2" diff drop.
Personally, i would not go over 2" level.
