Fog lamp lense fell off..common?

My pass side fog light lense has just vanished. Oddly enough on my buds Burban...his same one fell off. I texted him blaming him that he junked me since he said he would steal mine..he didnt but still lol. Is this a common problem? can the lense just be replaced or am i looking at a entire lamp?

Hmmm...have you tried those? usually anything that involves lights and simply glueing it back together never last more than a few rainy days.

I lost one in a crash and the other was pretty worn so I went the cheap rout e and made 2 flat lenses from plex.

I had dead time at work that needed filling

I purchased this same lens to replace my drivers side lens and replaced it on Monday. Don't know if it will last a long time or not but I used a silicone sealant. This route was cheaper than getting a new fog light. Real easy to do, took me maybe 15-20 minutes. Left the fog light off over night to let the sealant cure and put it yesterday.

I had the same happen and bought a replacement off ebay...It's been in for 6 months now and no complaints

Yep , Mine fell off on passenger side, on a 05 burban. Bought a replacement assy. on-line $40.

i have seen so many with no lenses, my problem is that mine keep filling with water, the vents in the top seem to let more water in then let it out. im thinking about just putting epoxy over the vents but not sure if the hid bulbs need to breathe?

ditto!! both mine are gone... they must use cheap adhesive or something. who knows.. i need to get some replacements soon though. not having the lenses screwed up my HID bulbs.

mine fell off to, drivers side, sucks, I'm looking to put an SS bumper on or a bumper that is similar to an SS, but it seems like if we use any OEM replacements, it's just a mater of time till we're replacing them again.
