I'm looking to add an Spod for aux lighting and other accessories on my 2016 Tahoe LT/Z71 Not sure the best place to pass wiring through firewall. Anyone successfully do this??

Looks like the factory wiring harness goes through a giant grommet, but the BCM is directly on the inside and I don't see room for a passthrough. So far only place I see in near the hood hinge.

Thx
Tony

I haven't messed with the 15+ plus but if you can't any place suitable then just drill a hole and put in a rubber grommet to keep the air/heat out

I installed the factory Kicker subwoofer kit. The instructions were very detailed including how to get wires through the firewall. After you cut the knob and feed the wire under the dash, it can still be very difficult to find it again under the dash. So be patient and good luck!
