This one is a great design. Just get the one without the breather filter or plug that one. The breather would cause a vacuum leak, high idle and SES light on an LS engine.

They're all the same, made at the same facilities. Just sold under different names at vastly different prices.

Not all catch cans are used on mass air metered efi vehicles, and some are used for crankcase ventilation where a sealed system is not needed

Turbocharged vehicles tend to produce a lot of blow-by and need the breather to keep from pressurizing the crankcase.

Mounted the catch can today but need some 90° or 45° Hose fittings. I also need someone to confirm my thinking on the flow. The catch can has a port that goes straight into the body of the can and one with a filter on it. I assume the filtered port should be out to the manifold and the unfiltered one is in from the valve cover.

The inlet is the filtered side. Unless they flipped the design, the inlet should be the port on the left, if facing the top with both ports aimed away from you.
