Finally installed BellTech 3/4 rear springs

I finally got around to getting the 3/4 BellTech rear springs and shock extenders on Tahoe. Swapped out the 2inch Eibachs I had on rear to even it out with the front, so now its completely level.

Also spent the last 2 days removing the badges and pinstripes.

Now I need to fix the ugly gold chevy logos on front and rear

When I got the truck it had 2 inch eibach drop springs on the front and rear. I wanted to level it out, so I put the belltechs on the rear (ordered from Tony). I used the spacer on the rear for a 3 inch drop and now its completely level. It was a little stiff at first, but now the ride is good.

Tires are 305/40/22. I think the ride quality is more effected by the tire size than the springs.

I was also having this weird noise issue from the rear of vehicle, which was another reason i switched springs. Multiple different mechanics said it was the compressed coils rubbing. Switched springs, and still had noise. Ordered and installed rubber coil isolators- still had noise. Took it in to another mechanic and he had heard of a notice chevy sent out for pick ups with drive shafts causing a noise. Drive shaft was replaced (warranty) and noise is now gone.

Need more info on the noise you were having. I have been chasing a noise in my wife's 07 Tahoe for awhile. I think mine is coming from the sway bars D bushings but I am not sure.

Looks good with the 22s. At least now I know 22s will look fine on my wife's Tahoe. I really didn't want to put 24s on her car with the crappy roads here in New Orleans. But I am sure it will have to be lowered to look good with the 22s.

We were chasing a noise in the rear for a while to the point where my wife wouldnt drive the Tahoe and we were thinking of trading it in.
The noise came from what sounded like the right rear passenger- a rubbing noise when going over speed bumps. I went to 4 different shops and kept getting different answers, but nothing fixed the noise. One place even hooked up some noise detector and they swore it was the springs rubbing, so we switched those out. When that didnt work, we added the rubber isolators- and the noise was still there.
Finally took it back to local chevy dealer and told them to do whatever they had to do to fix it.
My repair invoice says, "Lubed slip yoke, did not repair noise, replaced slip yoke, noise is gone."
Not sure what that is exactly, but it worked. Now the ride doesnt sound like a POS when going over bumps

The slip yoke is the piece that stubs out from the transfer case and connects with the drive shaft. It allows the suspension to flex without pulling the driveshaft out of the transfer case. So, it would make sense that you heard the noise while flexing the suspension (but that it wasn't from the suspension itself).

Op...what is your total setup front and rear? Do you have the eibachs on front and belltech on rear? Also what did you do to the emblems? they look good
