Has anyone swapped their Tahoe steering wheel for one out of an Escalade? If so, would the heated portion work?

Yes you would need the clock spring and youd need to run a wire to the junction box under the dash, its easy to do

Would i need the clockspring from the escalade just to make just the heated portion work? Would the rest of the buttins still work with the tahoe clockspring?

There are many threads on this, been done many times. Some clock springs have additional pins which are not being used, you can use those to wire in the heated steering wheel. Others don’t have the pins, at which you’ll need the clock spring and wire the vehicle side to power.
