I have a 2015 suburban LT .I need a drivers side mirror and found aftermarket pairs online for way less than 1 OEM mirror . I just ordered a pair of mirrors with signal lights , my original mirrors dont . How difficult is it to make this upgrade ? Will I come across any other connection issues ?

Can you provide a link to the mirrors? I can look at them and should be able to tell you what will/won’t work. I can help you with a harness to get the turn signals working.

Nice work cmatt. Had a 19 Burb for two weeks w/o the tilt down mirrors for backing up to see the lines painted in the parking stalls. The 1/2 mirrors were difficult enough, but the absence of the two yellow and one red led they used to place next to the d/s lift gate for gauging proximity via the rear view mirror made backing up a nightmare. The chimes to warn for proximity worked intermittently on the Burb.

One avoided collision, backing up or changing lanes will pay for this mod 10 times over.

Looks like it comes with the harness. That company 1A auto has some really good prices also , I'll report back on the build quality .

Thanks for the link. I would say that’s a set of wires. What I mean by harness is an integrated solution that’s plug and play. Looks like some wiring on the cabin side plus landing the door side wires is necessary.

Just got my mirrors , exited so I took a pic before I left . Seems like factory build quality and they're huge ! Same dimensions as OEM on a bigger scale . Very Escaladeish

Just had them Installed today. My truck wasnt wired for the turn signals from the factory ,so brought it to my mechanic to be wired . He didnt want to set up the turn signals saying that it wasnt worth messing with the trucks wiring, then drilling and risking water damage etc. Talented mechanic, but an automotive purist who wont even do the job if he doesn't agree with it . I may or may not have them wired later depending if I get over it or not .
Otherwise , the mirrors look and function really nice . Bigger than OEM and its definitely noticeable . I remember my ex commenting on how small the mirrors were for a truck , and agreed at the time, but kinda just forgot about it. I can see MUCH more through these mirrors , looks like elephant ears compared to the originals. Have some before and after pics .

Did you have them painted? Or the black just matched? The site says paint to match. I also have a black Tahoe want to replace mirrors
Sorry for the ridiculously late response , just saw this , but yeah it says paint to match , but it came in a glossy black like in the photos , sure looked painted to me . I was pretty happy about that .

Are those Escalade mirrors? I thought them to be much larger than the Suburban ones. I know Escaldes had two designs for side mirrors, are those first design?
No , not Escalade mirrors . They are definitely bigger than oem Tahoe/suburban mirrors , but they are an aftermarket design. Cost about 75% less than Escalade mirrors also
