Door hinge issue

Those hinge bolts are a btch, they make it look easy.

Every DIY looks easy until you get into it then you hit every possible issue. I'm always shocked when a repair goes smoothly.

I have that same problem on both front doors. I'm gonna play the heat game - hit it with a torch & spray a little juice - and see if I can get the gap opened up, then spin the bushing around and around and around by hand.

my bushing was worn out of round so spinning it didn't help.

Oooof. Yeah I assume that's the cse for me. Maybe I can heat it up enough to squeeze it back into round?

If it was like mine, I doubt it.

Seems like the roller kit or new hinge are the way to go.

I removed the spring so I don't have to hear the creak/crick sounds in the meantime.

What do you like about these vs the Dorman? There’s a big price difference and Dorman includes the spring tool.
